Remake of 'Tanu Weds Manu' in Telugu...

Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut’s latest Hindi film, Tanu Weds Manu, was released last week and went on to become a good hit.
Now, leading producer Dil Raju and another producer Nallamalupu Bujji are joining hands to remake this movie in Telugu. Discussions are on.

Story
Set on the backdrop of Venkatapuram in the Godavari district, Veera Babu (Siddarth) is the darling son of Sitaram Prasad (Rajendra Prasad). He is a complete brat and causes trouble in the village along with his group of friends (Prasad, Venu and others). He chances upon Varalakshmi (Pranitha), whose father (Ahuti Prasad) is a man of high status and talks to only such people. However, love blossoms between Veera Babu and Varalakshmi as they go a long way back. On the other hand, Sitaram Prasad has got a strong link with Varalakshmi’s family but stays away from them. What is that link? Does Veera Babu succeed in his love story? All this forms the rest of the story.

Story
Noted MLA Narasimha Reddy (Kitty) has got a trusted aide in the form of Veerabhadriah (Rajendra Gupta) in Anandapuram area.

However, Narasimha’s relative Nagamani Reddy (Kota) is unable to take this for reasons of caste and losing his presence. He plants a seed of friction and in no time, Narasimha Reddy gets Veerabhadriah killed. This enrages Veerabhadriah’s elder son Shankar Ravi (Sushant) and he gets into a killing spree and operates from forests.

Veerabhadriah’s younger son Pratap Ravi (Vivek) who is away from all this gets to know of this and before he realizes, Shankar Ravi also gets killed. He vows revenge on his father and brother’s killers and in this process, Narasimha Reddy, Nagamani Reddy and others are brutally killed. Nagamani Reddy’s son Bukka Reddy (Abhimanyu) who is insane to the core is unable to take this and he becomes Pratap’s main enemy.

Meanwhile, the rise of Pratap as opposite force to Bukka Reddy is noticed by Shivaji Rao (Shatrughan) who sets a new party and he decides to lift Pratap to put an end to Bukka Reddy. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

The man with the golden hand Dil Raju who has been going through a bumpy ride is back with his new treat.

Story
Krish (NTR) is the pampered son of his multi-millionaire parents (Mukesh Rishi, Pragathi) filled with family affection and a helping heart. He also has a girlfriend in the form of Indu (Samantha).
Story begins with Indu’s friend Bhumi (Kajal) having trouble in her home despite having a joint family. She wants her father’s (Prakashraj) affection and also she doesn’t want to get married to her bava (Ajay). Indu requests Krish to act as Bhumi’s boyfriend and resolve the matter.
However, what turns out to be a rescue mission for Krish gets him into the middle of an emotional conflict. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Nagarjuna's Gaganam Release date!!


Nagarjuna ‘Gaganam’, an experimental film, directed by Radha Mohan of ‘Aakasamantha’ fame is likely to be released on November 5 Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateshwara Creations.The film was made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages and the Tamil version was titled ‘Payanam’ .
The release of the film is frequently getting postponed due to some reason or the other. It is believed that the film is based on a hijack drama of Indian Airlines flight IC 814. The Tamil version of the film ‘Payanam’ was produced by Prakash Raj.

At present Prince Mahesh Babu Working on new Movie ‘Dookudu’ in the direction of Srinu Vytla. This movie shooting starts from 22nd Oct. It is known news that Mahesh is signed for the project ‘3 Idiots’ remake in the Shankar director. This movie shooting starts from Nov ending. News is heard that director Maniratnam stayed in Hyderabad to discuss the story with Mahesh for his new Project.
